Aqua Fitness classes at Lakeside Leisure Centre offer you a great way to stay fit without aggravation or risking injury. The resistance of water within each exercise and movement increases the intensity of your workout, helping to improve your strength, flexibility and overall health.
Our water-based classes combine the benefits of traditional gym workouts with the unique advantages of exercising in water. Aqua Aerobics offers full-body conditioning to build strength, muscular endurance, and cardiovascular fitness, while the natural buoyancy of water reduces impact and supports joints. Aqua Pilates focuses on core strength, flexibility, and posture, using controlled movements to improve balance and stability. Both classes provide a refreshing way to stay active, relieve stress, and leave you feeling calm and revitalized.
Aqua Fitness Classes run for 45 minutes and are instructed by qualified instructors with many years of experience. Aqua Fitness Classes are included in our Full Access membership or available as casual class passes.
